About the restaurant
The Kazakh national restaurant-museum "Zheruyik" was opened in "brigh Friday" - 1 November, 2000. The restaurant "Zheruyik" is the first Kazakh national restaurant-museum. From Kazakh "Zheruyik" means "The Promised Land".
The folklore and modern motives harmonize with interior of the restaurant. The style repeats the traditions of Turkic people. Only at us - a spirit of the nation carried by centuries!
In foyer of the restaurant, you can see the collection of the old-time weapon on the wall, executed on the individual order life-sized, being true copy of the original - according to ancient of the traditions of the kazakhs, any falling guest is identified into nomad's tent of the person and leaves its weapon beside threshold together with trouble thought, hereunder, showing itself, example of kind-heartedness and good-natured adjusting to master and his house. The restaurant "Zheruyik" is decorated in national style. The interior, accessories, cloth of the personnel, the dishes - all repeat the history and traditions of Kazakh people. In the centre of the hall is a big shanyrak - a steepe watch, showing motion sun, symbol of the building and world. Copies of rock paintings are painted on wall, the originals which is found archeologist in vicinity of Issyk.
We meet our guests in a broad and spacious, as Kazakh steppe, hall. Here is very comfortable to conduct the large banquets and household holidays. But if you want to feel yourself like khan or his favourite wife, you can move to another banquet hall where Khan's yurt or yurta of his wife will be to your service. In the banquet hall leads White Khan's yurt, where venerable high guests can occupy the place. The finding in the restaurant is associated with being in united, uncommonly spacious Khan's yurt. If you will need to conduct the business-lunch, an excellent VIP-hall will be to your service, which is also decorated in the national Kazakh style.
